Hey guys! My G1 is going to arrive tomorrow and I’ll need to buy memory for it ’cause 1GB is just nothing. What kind of memory the T-Mobile G1 uses?

The G1 uses a micro sd card. You can buy either an 8gb or 16gb sd card. They would be the SDHC format. You can buy a 8gb for about 20-25 dollars in many places like ebay or tiger direct etc. As for the 16gb card, they are more expensive. Average prices i have found is $70. Congratulations in getting a G1. I will be trying to get one at the tmo store tomorrow.

The T-Mobile G1 uses microSDHC cards. The capacity goes up to 16GB, but most people have 8GB Cards.
