What kind of voice plan is required to purchase a T-Mobile G1?

I already know about the data plan that is required to purchase a T-Mobile G1 but what about the voice plan?
I already know about the data plan that is required to purchase a T-Mobile G1 but what about the voice plan?
Is it possible to change it? I remember buying a Sidekick 2 a long time ago and they required I purchased it with a certain voice plan even though I didn’t need one but they let me change it.
Is it possible to do the same with the G1? Get rid of the voice plan and just stick with the date plan?

I don’t believe a specific voice plan is required.
If you wanted to you could go with the cheapest voice plan (39.99 for 300 min + myFaves) and just add the data onto that plan and you should be good to go.
