MyTouch 3G is Here
MyTouch3G, the second phone that uses the Android platform from T-Mobile has recently been launched. San Francisco witnessed a skydiving party that celebrated the launch of this latest Android phone. The phone is available both online and in stores. www.cnet.com reports that this device is the sequel to G1 and comes after 10 months of the first T-Mobile Android phone.
This latest phone is one you will easily like. The controls are easy and the design is sleek. The improved features leave little room for complaints. The MyTouch is good enough to make a great case for the Android as a mainstream cell phone software platform. There is no physical keyboard but that is not too bad. If you’re thinking of owning one, the cost is $199.99. You also have to get a data plan and sign a new contract.
A number of non-phone devices may benefit from Google’s Android platform. The source code of MIPS Technologies Android Port is being publicly released soon and this is likely to see a widened use of the Android.
